Visit from Grandpa

This is a little old, but here are some pictures from Grandpa's last visit.

new shoes

He was not so sure at first. Now he loves to put on his new shoes.

My Cat in a Box

One of Guthrie's favorite Birthday gifts.

Walking Practice

Here is a game we played with Guthrie when he was first learning to walk (This video is probably from August or so). He used to love walking around and around the kitchen table. Sorry my voice is so loud, and the video is a little long (but the spill at the end is worth it).

Learning to use a spoon?

Rock Stars

Duck!

Corn Post - the prequel

This was actually supposed to be the corn post. We just found it again. Here is Guthrie learning to eat corn.

Potpourri

Halloween

Guthrie is (er was) a monkey.

Fall Leaves

Two monkeys

Birthday Fun Part 2

A Couple of Cute Ones

sausages!

Our friends Sonja and Casey got married this past weekend. The ceremony was great and all but the highlight was probably the sausages.

First Bday

Guthrie and his pal Lewis had a co-first-bday-party. The highlight, of course, was the cake eating where Lewis took no prisoners and Guthrie was cautious. An interesting reverse of their normal approaches to things. Of course, Guthrie did eventually dive in....

baskets, pails, trunks

Guthrie likes to climb into things.

Pumpkin Pickin

Our most-awesome CSA invited everyone out to the farm to pick pumpkins and glean the remaining vegetables out of the fields. Guthrie loved the pumpkins and all the people there were to charm.

Corn Post

This is a pretty long video, so give it a little while to load. I have a feeling we'll be watching this video over and over for years to come.

... I feel I must note that we did put him to bed immediately after this video was taken.

End of Summer...

Monkey Time

These pictures are a little old, but we love this hat.

Memorial Union Terrace Time

Guthrie is already a big fan.

Food

Guthrie really gets into his food. Here, you can see mac and cheese barnacles and yummy pasta sauce nearly in the hair.
