Smiles and frowns...

Lately Guthrie has started to smile, which has made his parents very happy.

















He does throw in a frown once and a while to keep us honest.

Guthrie's BFF: No not the cats, not the Mobile, but his neighbor Lewis. Here are some pictures of Guthrie and his best friend Lewis. They voted together, played in the leaves together, and well, I'm not sure Lewis is into the kissing thing.

election day

We voted as a family on a gorgeous day in Madison and Guthrie was so psyched his candidate won (I think he slept through most of the voting process). We posed on our neighbors' lawn for a family photo and there were lots of fireworks that night when the outcome was announced. Madison, of course, was euphoric... (I promise this will be the only political post on Guthrie's blog but I couldn't resist one of our only family shots.)

It was warm here on Halloween. So Guthrie got to hang out in the breeze on our back porch.

Aunt Patti came to visit all the way from Tulsa.



We had an early thanksgiving to celebrate.
Guthrie liked Patti almost as much as Lyle the cat did.

Grandma came up from Janesville...





and Guthrie dressed up as a pumpkin for the occasion.
