Iowa

Guthrie met his great-grandpa last weekend in Cedar Rapids. Aunt Rocky was there too.

Scott and Guthrie and I had fun getting there and getting back. We stopped for lunch and a walk at a park...

Some old pictures

We recently discovered how to get pictures off our phone. So here are some pretty old pictures we recently re-discovered:

This is Guthrie's first photo. We couldn't get out camera to work right after he was born so Scott used the phone. Not sure if it was the camera or the lack of sleep/exhaustion.

I wish this wasn't so blurry... so tiny!
Guthrie's first hike/walk.

A Few More Arizona Pics

Ooops - I guess the last one was still in Wisconsin. It still looks like that here....

A Grandma Sandwich

Guthrie is the luckiest boy in the world, he has two wonderful grandmas and a great Bob Dylan Poster.

Grandma's visit

Grandma stopped by to play with Guthrie

Wes the Explorer

We hate to steal the thunder from Grackle Boy but we had some cute Wes pictures we wanted to post.

Fishing.

A job well done.

Best friends.

Hiking II

Wes is in much better hiking shape than Guthire. Here he is still awake near the end of the hike.

Hiking I

Guthrie enjoyed our hike in the Catalina mountains. Don't let these pictures fool you, he slept most of the way.

We like this one of Wes and his dad.

Cousin Wes and Guthrie

Wesley was nice enough to share his toys with Guthrie, although some of them were still too advanced.

Soaking up the sun

Guthrie located the undertoe in the pool.

30,000 ft.

Guthrie's first flight. You can see here that he was a terror in the skies.

Airport Photo Shoot

Here are two of our favorite shots of Guthrie (and a great one of Aimee too). We were waiting for our plane to Az, and these just came out great.

Note to John: Two ladies behind us were havener.

Guthrie in hats

This is a series of pictures of Guthrie in hats. It's seems to be universal that people like to give babies hats and see them in hats (myself included). I think Guthrie may have more hats than pants.

rolling and scooting

Guthrie is discovering new things so much lately that this video already seems pretty outdated. The quality is again, pretty bad. But this is one of the very first times he rolled from his back to his belly and we caught it on video (Feb 16). Now, nearly every time he is on his back he'll roll to his belly and even does some scooting around (pushes himself backwards and in circles with his arms - no leg action yet). The thing is that he's nearly forgotten how to get from his belly to his back again. So he gets stuck on his belly and eventually starts to cry.

peek a boo

I don't think Guthrie totally gets it yet. He just seems to like it when one of us appears in his view.

Toes!

Here is Guthrie having a giggle fit. Sorry this video is so dark, we are still learning on the new camera.

Jeremy and Carol and Guthrie

Guthrie got to meet some new friends in Chicago as well. Don't these three make a good team?

Hey, a smile; Carol is a natural.

Chicago Pics

Hanging out with Grandma, discussing the news of the day.

Playing around with Mom on the bed.

Yes, we actually did leave the hotel.
Here is Guthrie and Aimee at an old McCutheon standby, Gino's East.

Guthrie the lion

This is in Guthrie's first hotel room - the big city (more to come soon). We think this means he likes it?

Guthrie the commuter

Scott and Guthrie take the bus when it's not 10 below zero outside. This is them on their way to work and daycare for the first time. You can't really see him but I promise he's in there - it's pretty darn cute.

BYOBaby Party

This past weekend we had a "Bring Your Own Baby" party. There were three complete babies and two that are still cooking.... and lots of good food. Hopefully, it is the first of many byob parties...

mama's boy

So I don't think Guthrie looks too much like either one of us. But in this picture, he looks a lot like his mom as a baby.
